MARY KALOCSAY, ARTIST

Mary Kalocsay attended Western Michigan University and graduated with a degree in Fine Art, her area of concentration was in drawing and painting.

Over time, Mary has shown her paintings in galleries across the U.S. Her drawings and paintings have been published in magazines, and have even graced a few covers. You can find two books illustrated by Mary in the U.S. Library of Congress, the many drawings, are of artifacts found by Archeologist. Mary has taught all ages and her art work has been commissioned as far away as China and Australia.

These accomplishments have all been fulfilling, though not as gratifying as painting murals. Commissioned for both commercial residential murals.

She describes murals as magic, they are an illusion of space, of dimension, they create a new place a mood. She will take your flat 2D wall and open it up to a seemingly 3D area. A place only you can imagine and she can create.
